Fran Russell:

          Fran Russell is the president and owner of CRW Mechanical, Inc.  Along with his retired ex-partner David Cole, Fran founded CRW in January of 1990.  He served as the company's vice president for 15 years and assumed the role of president in 2005 after Mr. Cole’s retirement.

          Fran is a 1984 graduate of Local # 5 plumbing and pipefitting school of Washington DC.  He holds the masters licenses for both plumbing and gas fitting.

          Fran is responsible for all aspects of the business including corporate growth and planning as well as being involved in the day-to-day operations.  His attention to detail and customer satisfaction has been the foundation of what the companies values represent.

          He currently resides in Annapolis, MD with his wife Linda and their three daughters Erin, Emily, and Kelly.

Chris Colburn  

          Chris is the Vice President of Construction for CRW.  He began with the company 19 years ago in the field and has diligently worked to the position he holds today.  He has been a steamfitter with the local 602 for 25 years.  Chris’s responsibilities include supervising all projects in the field as well as estimating and project management.  He currently resides in Port Tobacco, MD.

Rudy Ford

          Rudy is the Executive Vice President of CRW, and oversees the Service Department. Rudy started with CRW in February of 1997 as a project manager, with 10 years of commercial sheet metal experience.  Rudy quickly moved into a position of performing whatever tasks needed to be accomplished at the benefit of the company.  These diligences lead to becoming Senior Project manager. Rudy holds the HVAC Masters License in the state of Maryland including Anne Arundel County and the state of Virginia.  He currently resides in his hometown of Edgewater, MD with his wife Kimberly and their four daughters Alice, Paige, Jane and Sally.

Jon Weinberg

Jon Weinberg is a Project Manager here at CRW and has been a with CRW since January of 2010.  He recently graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree is Business Management and has quickly become a key component.  His responsibilities include estimating, project management, and marketing.  He currently resides in Arlington.

Cathy Spell

          Cathy plays an integral role in the project management team.  She has been with the company for 10 years and has climbed the ladder from an administrative assistant/assistant Project Manager to a Lead Project Manager.  Cathy is responsible for initiating the start of all new projects and for issuing Certificates of Insurance, Purchase Orders, Submittals and the completion of Operation and Maintenance manuals.  Her strengths include multi-tasking and the close out of projects.  She currently resides in Mechanicsville with her husband Phil and two daughters Miranda and Tabitha.

Matt Swieringa

             Matt is the newest member of the team, Matt started in the mechanical industry in 2007 and has been with CRW since April of 2010.  Matt now serves as a Service Project Manager and helps to run the day to day operations of the Service Department.
